The training will introduce all elements of safety management system and human factors with the intention of providing understanding of the application of safety management principles, including human factors and human performance issues, to find workable methods to improve standards and compliance, to recognize the implication of errors.

Target Group | · Nominated persons, line managers, supervisors;
· Certifying staff, support staff and mechanics; · Technical support personnel such as planners, engineers, technical record staff · Persons involved in compliance monitoring and/or safety management-related processes and tasks, including the application of human factors principles, internal investigations and safety training; · Specialised services staff · Stores department staff, purchasing department staff; · Ground equipment operators The course meets the (EU) No. 1321/2014 Annex II /Part-145 (AMC4 145.A.30(e)) and Annex Vc/ Part-CAMO (AMC3 CAMO.A.305(g)) and covers all the topics of the training syllabus specified in GM1 145.A.30(e) and GM2 CAMO.A.305(g) |
Prerequisites | English language is required- aviation related technical vocabulary, Computer, Internet access
There is no software deemed necessary for this training. |
Training objectives | Upon completing the training, students will be able to: • Understand the nature of human error. • Identify and predict potential human errors in maintenance. • Identify strategies to reduce or control human errors in maintenance. • Adopt a credible and non-punitive policy toward human error (not violations), acknowledging that people make honest mistakes while still holding them accountable. • Demonstrate a commitment to taking action to minimize conditions that induce errors. • Identify and mitigate threats before they manifest as errors. • Assist in evaluating current and proposed maintenance policies and procedures. • Conduct investigations for individuals involved in mishaps or other incidents. |
Completion Standard | The full course completion: 100% Upon completion of the course the Participants will generate online training certificate issued by DAS (EL.147.0021), EASA Part-147 approved Maintenance Training Organization (MTO) and will be able to save it directly on the PC (pdf format) and print a copy as required. The certificate should be downloaded to PC right after the course completion. |
Examination | Short test after each Module. Final exam. Pass mark: 75%. |
Access | The User receives access to training for a period of 30 calendar days. With the exception of the final examination, the course allows for interruption and resumption at any time as needed. |

Notes | Refresher training should be conducted in a period not exceeding two years. |
